Interior Design, for Grades 1–3
Interior Design program invites kids to become creative designers who shape the spaces they live, learn, and play in. Students explore how colors can change mood—calm blues, energetic yellows, cozy neutrals—and learn how to mix and match materials like wood, fabric, glass, and textures to create unique environments. Through fun, hands-on projects, they design and build their own miniature houses, rooms, or even shops, thinking carefully about layout, lighting, furniture, and small details that make a space feel special. Along the way, they discover how interior design is not just about decoration, but about creating spaces that are functional, comfortable, and full of personality.
 Designing a Human Colony on Mars –G 3-5
In this camp week, students will step into the role of future designers and imagine what it would take for humans to live on Mars. Through guided brainstorming, research, and creative exploration, they will question, design, and develop ideas for building a sustainable Mars colony. Students will think critically about essential systems such as shelter, food production, energy, water, transportation, and survival in an extreme environment, while also expanding their imagination to consider how communities, culture, and daily life might evolve on another planet. Inspired by science, architecture, and speculative futures, including cinematic worlds like Star Wars, this program encourages bold thinking and future-oriented design. Students will learn to combine creativity with problem-solving as they design innovative solutions for life beyond Earth.
