Summer Camp 2026 (August)

Creative Architecture Adventures

Week 6 to 9

Week 6
Build, Stack, Grow! Modular Architecture Week

What if buildings could grow like LEGO creations?

This week, campers explore modular design—building with repeatable pieces that can expand and transform. They’ll experiment with grids, patterns, stacking systems, and flexible structures.

Kids will design buildings that can grow taller, wider, or change shape. They’ll learn how architects use systems to build schools, homes, and even emergency shelters.

This week strengthens logical thinking and creativity at the same time—great for builders who love patterns and problem-solving.

Program Name: Build, Stack, Grow! Modular Architecture Week
Program Format: Camp
Program Curriculum’s:

Dates: Aug 4-7 (no class on Aug 3)

Full day : 9:00am-3pm / $330

Half day: 9:00am-12pm/ $240

Locations: 1075 Marine Dr. North Vancouver

Week 7
Minecraft Master Builders

Minecraft meets real architecture!

Campers will explore how blocks, grids, and massing work in real-life building design. They’ll design cities inspired by Minecraft—but with real architectural thinking behind them.

Kids will plan layouts, design structures, and think about balance, form, and function. They’ll translate digital imagination into physical models and drawings.

This week is a huge hit for creative gamers and builders who love turning ideas into worlds.

Program Name: Minecraft Master Builders

Week 8
Sky-High Designers: Tower & Vertical Architecture

Let’s build UP!

Campers explore skyscrapers, observation towers, and vertical cities. Why do tall buildings need strong cores? How do they stay balanced?

Kids will design and test their own towers, experimenting with structure, height, and stability. They’ll learn how elevators, stairs, and supports make tall buildings possible.

This week is full of hands-on building challenges and exciting structural experiments!

Week 9
Design a Smart Home & City

What if you could design a home and a city that help both people and the planet? This week, campers will become architects, engineers, and inventors as they explore the exciting world of smart and sustainable design. They will discover how homes can save energy, collect rainwater, use solar power, and stay warm in winter and cool in summer through innovative building techniques inspired by Passive House principles.
Through hands-on experiments, design challenges, and model-making activities, campers will create their own smart homes and future cities featuring green spaces, renewable energy systems, efficient transportation, and eco-friendly technologies. They will learn how architects and urban designers work together to build healthier, more comfortable, and environmentally responsible communities.
By the end of the week, campers will have designed a city of the future filled with creative ideas, sustainable solutions, and exciting innovations that make everyday life better for everyone. Get ready to imagine, build, and shape the future—one smart home at a time!

Program Name: Smart City Innovators: Interactive Architecture
Program Format: Camp
Program Curriculums:

Dates:  Aug 24-28

Full day : 9:00am-3pm / $410

Half day: 9:00am-12pm/ $300

Locations: 1075 Marine Dr. North Vancouver

Week 10
Designing a Human Colony on Mars

In this camp week, students will step into the role of future designers and imagine what it would take for humans to live on Mars. Through guided brainstorming, research, and creative exploration, they will question, design, and develop ideas for building a sustainable Mars colony. Students will think critically about essential systems such as shelter, food production, energy, water, transportation, and survival in an extreme environment, while also expanding their imagination to consider how communities, culture, and daily life might evolve on another planet. Inspired by science, architecture, and speculative futures, including cinematic worlds like Star Wars, this program encourages bold thinking and future-oriented design. Students will learn to combine creativity with problem-solving as they design innovative solutions for life beyond Earth.

Program Name: Interior design
