Minecraft City Builders – Creating the World in Real Life
In this camp, kids will bring the magic of Minecraft to life — off the screen and into the studio! Using real materials such as cardboard, wood blocks, and craft supplies, young builders will design and construct their own Minecraft-inspired city filled with houses, castles, bridges, forests, and hidden spaces.
Through creative exploration, they’ll learn how architects and city planners think — solving real design challenges like building strong structures, connecting different areas with bridges, and planning how their city works as a whole.
Just like in the game, imagination has no limits! Kids will experiment with shapes and patterns, invent secret places, and collaborate to create a dynamic city that reflects their ideas of play, community, and design.
Learning highlights:
- Understanding how cities and structures are built
- Exploring creativity through problem-solving and teamwork
- Designing bridges, landscapes, and infrastructure
- Turning digital inspiration into real-world design
Afternoon Enrichment: Build to Express – Creative Coaching with LEGO
In the afternoons, children will participate in the Build to Express Creative Coaching Program, a unique experience designed and facilitated by Sara Saebi, a Physics graduate and certified Transformational Coach. Using official LEGO® Education sets, storytelling, and guided reflection, children explore emotions, relationships, and creative problem-solving through hands-on building. This program blends science, creativity, and emotional intelligence—helping children express ideas, build confidence, and connect their imagination to real-life understanding.
