Junior Architects

After School Program/ Spring

In this course, students will explore how nature inspires architectural design. They will learn how structures in nature—such as shells, honeycombs, trees, and animal habitats—solve complex problems in efficient and beautiful ways. Through hands-on model-making and guided educational exploration , students will discover how architects study nature to design stronger, smarter, and more sustainable buildings. This topic encourages creativity, observation, problem-solving, and innovation at an early age.

In this program, students will learn how buildings impact our planet and how architects can design spaces that save energy, reduce waste, and protect the environment. They will explore concepts such as green roofs, renewable energy, eco-friendly materials, and climate-responsive design through engaging projects and interactive discussions. This course empowers students to think critically about the future of cities and understand how they can contribute to a more sustainable world.”
