In Alpine Architects, children will step into the role of young architects and design their own contemporary chalet inspired by Whistler’s mountain landscape. They’ll explore how architecture responds to snow, climate, views, materials, and the experience of living in a mountain environment. Through sketching, spatial planning, model-making, and prototyping, students will develop their chalet from an initial idea into a three-dimensional architectural model, combining creativity, function, and a strong connection to its surroundings.
