Nastaran Beigi
Co-Founder | Director

Nastaran E.Beigi is the Co-Founder of InnoHub Academy. Nass is an architect and urban designer dedicated to inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers and problem solvers. As the chief educator, she combines her expertise in architecture with her passion for education to provide engaging learning experiences for children and youth. Completed her journey in the University of Tehran (science) with a master’s degree in Architecture, and a master’s degree in Urban Design from the University of British Columbia, She have over a decade of experience in the architecture and urban design industry, Nass brings a unique perspective to education.

As a mom of two, she recognizes the importance of fostering innovation and creativity in children. She understands that providing opportunities for hands-on learning and exploration is crucial for brain development and problem-solving skills.

This insight drives her commitment to creating an environment at InnoHub Academy where children can unleash their imagination, experiment with new ideas, and develop the critical thinking skills they need to thrive in the modern world.

Nass is passionate about making design education accessible to all children, regardless of their background or prior experience. She believes that every child deserves the opportunity to shape the world around them and is dedicated to empowering them to do so through their practice.

Sara Kalantary
Co-Founder | Director

Sara Kalantary is the Co-Founder of Innohub Academy, she holds a PhD in Architecture from Tehran and is currently studying at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She founded TDC Office in 2004 and has since been professionally active in design, ranging from small-scale projects to urban design. Over the years, she has won numerous international awards for her creativity and innovative ideas, among the most significant of which:

-The winner of Chicago International Award for the Best New Global Design(IAA)

-First place of Asia Architecture Awards(2AAA)

-Honorable mention at world architecture festival ( WAF)

-Domus magazine with the title of Architectue meets nature by Sara Kalantary &Reza Sayadian

-The winner of New York international award( Architizer)

From 2005 to 2019, she was a professor at Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, where she taught core architecture courses such as Studio One, Two, and Three. Sara Kalantary has also given lectures at many prestigious universities around the world and has served as a judge for various architectural awards.

For her, creativity and innovation are very important, and she is always seeking new ideas to answer the world’s questions. All the awards she has received globally have been for her innovation. She has also written many articles on architecture, and her articles have been published in renowned magazines and books worldwide.

Frank
Co-Host

Frank was the instructor at Simon Fraser University and he is the principal and sole practitioner of Frank Ducote Urban Design, a Vancouver-based firm specializing in urban design, physical planning, and public engagement for both private and public sector clients.

With over 25 years of experience working at the municipal level, including 11 years as senior planner and urban designer for the City of Vancouver, and 15 years as a private consultant, Frank brings a wealth of knowledge to our session. His career has spanned key roles in San Diego’s City Architect’s Office and the municipalities of North and West Vancouver.

Frank is widely recognized for his innovative public engagement methods, particularly his unique 3-D modelling process. This approach allows participants to actively engage in design exercises, creating an inclusive, hands-on experience where everyone, regardless of expertise, contributes to shaping creative and feasible urban spaces.

Nastaran Arian
Co-Host

Nastaran Arian, holds an undergraduate degree in mining engineering and earned her Master’s and PhD from UBC, specializing in the sustainable development of renewable energy projects. After completing her academic studies, she led a climate change and energy transition modeling project at SFU, focusing on the impacts of energy policies and technology choices on the security of water and land systems in BC. Currently, she leads an international team at a startup developing innovative AI-powered platforms designed to nurture children’s creativity and education through storytelling.

Sanaz Mani
Co-Host

Sanaz Mani , Gratuated from Tehran University of Architecture in 2005 , and immigrated to Canada in the same year. Before immigrating to Canada, she had sent an application to UBC University in Canada to study for a master’s degree in MASA, and she was accepted with an entrance award to the university after she arrived in Canada. After finishing university, she worked at Perkins+Will for 7 years and her experience in Canadian companies helped her to register as an architect in Canada. This company is one of the most important companies in North America in designing in harmony with the environment and sustainable design, and this had a great impact on her design and ideas. In 2015, she started her  company with her old friend and colleague Richard Zeng, and the company continues to operate until now
