Branches become foundations, bridges connect spaces, and the forest becomes the site for a new architectural adventure! In Up in the Trees, children will design their own imaginative treehouse while exploring how architecture can grow within and respond to nature. They’ll think about structure, access, scale, movement, views, and the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Through sketching, experimentation, model-making, and prototyping, students will transform their ideas into a detailed three-dimensional treehouse – complete with platforms, bridges, ladders, climbing elements, and unexpected spaces.
